A Typical Town in North West bulgariaBulgarian North West Properties welcomes you to the undiscovered, peaceful and relaxing  North West of Bulgaria where value for money Bulgarian properties can still be found.

Travelling north west from the capital city of Sofia on the well-maintained E79 highway, through mountains covered in lush pine and deciduous forests, passing the pretty town of Vratsa at the foot of a mountain and its boutique like shops and many cafes, restaurants and bars, one arrives at the town of Montana, centre of the administrative region of the North West.

In this area you can find small country towns and many villages dotted throughout the countryside, which varies from the plains growing wheat, sunflowers and corn, to the mountainous areas of the Balkans and Stara Planina. Here you can find many cheap properties, ranging from small cottages to majestic mansions with large plots of land. Here the pace of life is tranquil and slow as it has always been.

Produce is organic, animals are free range and due to the very fertile soil and ambient climate of the region all varieties of fruits are grown, including peaches, strawberries, plums, apricots plus vegetable and herb cultivation is widely varied.

Life in the villages remains largely traditional and rural, although more modern amenities such as internet connections are becoming more widespread and  local people are becoming more mobile often visiting the larger towns to buy in the supermarkets and electrical stores. Life is evolving, but slowly and villages vary from those which are still almost completely rural and dependent on their local shops and bazaars, to those which are becoming more developed.

Here, in the North West region, you can explore and discover the lovely monasteries, visit huge underground caves, climb the rocks at Belogradchik and explore the fortress built into the rock face, drive through beautiful mountains full of forests, streams and wildlife, or drive across the majestic plains covered in sunflowers and wheat in the summer. There are also beautiful towns to visit such as Pleven, with it's modern and lovely centre, Vidin, on the banks of the Danube and the famous Baba Vida fortress, Varshets, with it's spa baths and forest walks, Lom, a lively bustling town also on the banks of the Danube, Petrohan, set high in the mountians and guaranteed to have snow all winter, plus many many more.
If the idea of living a more relaxed lifestyle, in a beautiful cheap Bulgarian property, than it is possible to find in a bustling modern western country, with clean air to breathe and space to move and "live the good life" appeals to you, then please contact us.

Give us a call, be selective, and get away from the 'lemming' crowds, all rushing towards the same places. Although the focus of developers is shifting now in some places towards the higher end of the market with gated estates, luxury apartments and similar, here in the North West you can still find a nice, reasonably priced Bulgarian property, either to be fully renovated or in some cases ready to move into.

We are here to help guide you through the very easy process of buying your own home and living in beautiful Bulgaria.
